Educational Opportunities

Part of the original mandate of Archway Counselling Association was to provide training opportunities for the community in counselling related topics. Our Community Room is an ideal location for video seminars and for community groups to meet.

Since 1994 we have provided a wide variety of educational workshops and seminars. These have included topics such as:

• parenting
• marriage
• communication and conflict resolution
• budgeting and finance
• Freedom in Christ
• Boundaries

We have also offered workshops specifically for the pastors and church leaders in our community.

In addition, we have developed a Life Management Series that is offered to corporations, churches, youth, and other groups, and can be modified to meet specific needs. It is a series of workshops dedicated to effective training for those who desire to develop and sharpen their life skills. Topics include:

• communication and conflict resolution
• self-esteem
• goal setting
• stress
• anger
• time management

We are committed to provide our community with valuable opportunities for growth.

Leadership Breakfasts

Hosted on the second Wednesday of the month in Archway Place’s conference room, this breakfast is designed for local church leaders to come together for interaction, food, and personal growth. The breakfast runs from 8:30-10:00 and no RSVP is required.
